Axis II - Social inclusion and the fight against poverty - Social and work integration of people subject to measures issued

Lombardy Region is supporting local projects for the social and work Integration of prisoners, prison leavers and ex-offenders. Adults, young and minors and their families have the opportunity to access education and training programmes starting already during the retention period. In order to facilitate their integration into the labour market, Region Lombardy has contributed to develop a strategic partnership between all relevant territorial and socio-economic actors that pursue the same objectives:

overcoming of sectorial measures, by reinforcing the integration among different areas of intervention (social  inclusion/education/training/work);
strengthening and improving the capacity of institutions and organization to define personalized and not standardized measures to offer proportionate responses depending on the complexity and intensity of the needs;
strengthening and improving the ability to activate the community in order to facilitate the social, educational and employment inclusion.
